Keep in mind the AWANA Store for this year.
Before discarding items from your home think about
bringing them. 
Suggests:  Journals, jewelry, gel pens, basketball, baseball glove, notebooks, water guns,
puzzles, games, silly putty, cars, trucks, books, fun movies, crafts, Frisbees, stickers, jump ropes, sidewalk chalk, paints, etc.  
All clean and in working condition.

"Cubbie Parents"
Thank you for your desire to have your child attend AWANA and be a Cubbie at BFC.
We want to inform you of our need to limit our class size to 20 children do to space limitations.  
Cubbies need to be 3 years old before September 1st to enter Cubbie land.  

If they are in kindergarten, they need to be in Sparks.  
Order of priority in registering children is :  BFC and all AWANA leader children first; 
if there is room, registration is on a first come first serve basis. 

Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.

 What are AWANA Clubs?

AWANA Clubs.

**For ages 3, up through high school.  
**They meet each Wednesday night at Bible Fellowship Church from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.  
**A meal is provided from 5:15 to  5:45P.M.  
**Children $ 0.75 and adults $1:50. 

How Can I Help?

**We need new leaders to help in this growing ministry.  
**Would you prayerfully seek God's will in being a part of the team?  
**If you are interested in helping children grow in Him then the AWANA Clubs may be a place for you to be in ministry at BFC.

What Is an AWANA Club Leader?

**A person who has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and has the desire to serve Him by working with youth.

What Does an AWANA Leader Do?

**Help clubbers memorize and complete their workbooks each Wednesday night.
**Listen to clubbers quote verses.
**Get to know clubbers and encourage them.
**Wear an AWANA Club uniform.
**Be with clubbers throughout the game time, handbook time and counsel time.
**Read and understand the Leader's manual.
**Attend special training sessions.

Prayer Requests for AWANA 2007-2008

**All aspects of the club would be honoring to the Lord.
**An atmosphere of respect, enjoyment and reverence.
**Many new children to come to AWANA.
**Decisions for the Lord during the year.
**Many, many recommitments for the Lord.
**Enough directors, leaders, and helpers in all areas to minister effectively.
**That Satan would not be able to destroy relationships made in AWANA.
**For wisdom in ministering for all those involved.
**For patience and understanding in the T & T program.
**Thank you for praying. The rewards will be mighty.
