Leadership

Pastor Dick and Elvira came to Rapid City in July of 1983.  Both Dick and Elvira graduated from Grace College of the Bible in Omaha, Nebraska.  Pastor Nickel also attended the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno, California.  Previous to Rapid City they served Churches in Tollhouse, Reedley and Shafter California.  They have three grown daughters.  Dick and Elvira enjoy working together in  Church related ministries.  Their heart's desire is to see people come to Christ and live for Him on a daily  basis.

As a youngster, Mrs. June Wiebe committed her life to serving Christ and His Church.  She spent 10 years in Zimbabwe as a missionary and later served in many churches with her husband in the MB Central District.  She and Pastor Waldo Wiebe served at BFC from 1980 to 1983 and returned in the 1990's.  Mrs. Wiebe serves as church secretary and in many other areas at BFC with her joy being in teaching children and women the Bible.

One distinctive of Bible Fellowship Church has been an emphasis on  leadership by elders.  The Pastoral staff along with committed and dedicated laymen provide leadership to the church body.  Seeking to follow a biblical pattern of leadership, the following men are presently serving as elders:
